Small modifications
-Added new geo to the TV, adding a logo, rounding out the screen and the screens frame, added button and knob details
-Broke apart part of the fireplace stone. Crafting some small chunks to place on the floor near it
-Adjusted the chair height. Looks better, revising the legs
-Bigger window, but the curtains still cover quite a bit of that up. Gonna post them thinner tomorrow and see how that looks.
Dylan suggested I add a table. Will worry about that after I'm finished with this sprint. A few other props were suggested that I think will really help, so I'm forming a plan of attack to make this a lot better over the next week here.
Sorry for no updates this week, I've been out sick...

New camera angle?
Another chair update
Thinned it out, removed some of the squaredness.
Got the legs almost ready.
- Gonna add buttons to the leather
-Use geometry to tear up one arm rest, and for the sake of texture conservation make duct tape with geo as well.
-Adding a little more geometry to the legs, chamfering the wood edges

Crate
This is my crate as of right now. Adding the latches today. May add texture between the planks to make it obvious they are there (there is geometry separating them. Need to see it in better lighting before I decide if that geometry is doing anything for me because right now it looks like it isn't)

Chair
So I started on my chair today, and it looked terrible
So I did it again, and it looked terrible...
So I started again... I'm just having an off day I think.
So this is my third attempt, a little better.
-haven't started the legs yet, represented by cubes
-Seat cushion too squared, going to take in the back to be a bit more trapezoidal
-Backrest feels too wide. Taking that in a bit and angling the arm rests outward to break that squareness up.
Finish this tomorrow, as well as applying textures to the rifle crates.

A lame update
I know this update is weak, but I just got done with the rest of my classwork for the week.
Anyways, that is my low poly pillow for right now. it's only about 200 tris, and I can probably get it even lower without issue. Probably just share UV space on the bottom or even delete those Tris since I don't plan to use this asset elsewhere.
Maybe combine it with the sleeping bag? Anyways, plan to model out the sleeping bag tomorrow and fix my TV

TV WIP
Here's what I'm doing right now with my TV. Found some extra geometry and deleted it, which is good because I can see I need some more geometry on here. No worries
There is my texture sheet I'm using for it, and I know I'll need to eventually take it away from being all raw photosource but for now it's helping me.
I am noticing some areas where I can change up some colors, as well as add or remove detail but for now I'll let it be.
Still working on it.

Updated Textures
Updated the textures for my small props, there were major issues. They look better. The can logos are way too big, so I'll scale those down at a later date. It's not worth my time tonight.
Posting an update of the textured TV after Breaking Bad tonight ;)
Might try my hand at the ncloth for the curtains after I'm done with that.

Small Props
Beginning to texture my small props. Adding noise. Working to finish this tonight.
The black book won't be black when I'm done, obviously, and the can's I'm just starting.

Crates and curtains
So I'm doing some texturing this weekend but I wanted to make a strong effort today and tomorrow to work on some models, that way as I finish the textures on my big texture sheet I can just start throwing textures on at once and save myself some work as we get towards finals week (since things will get hectic in other classes).
Tomorrow I plan to get the curtain models finished, get some shape to them, and model out the chair if time permits.
But the plan for tomorrow is to do my textures for the small objects (which will use specific textures, since they need logos and such), and other than that just start putting together my texture sheet with my additional wood and metal textures to get those applied to the TV and crates.
note: polys are a little high so that I can still get detail, since I'm using texture sheets instead of model specific textures.

Material count
So right now I think I'm looking at about 13 types of textures I need, though thinking about it I think I need an extra for the pillow, window and candles...
So I guess about 16. I'm gonna challenge myself to see if I can get this done reusing textures like mad, breaking it up with lighting and decals.
Oh yeah so I guess more for decals... It piles up every time I think more about it...

TV
Laying out UVs for my TV right now, but this model is ready to go (except the books under the close leg. I will just be using my other books there, since they are already modeled and UVed I don't think it's worth the wasted time.
Small Props
I turned off the texture on these, since they are currently just checkerboards and it really made it harder to see
Books and an ash tray. Doing my stack of newspapers tonight and finishing modeling out the TV, will work on the TV UVs tomorrow evening then it's texturing all next week.

Fireplace, maya issues
Ok so I'm doing UV layout on this fireplace. I'm grabbing some stone for the base and brick for the inside right now, but Maya is being very strange.
When I move UVs they are not updating in the viewport under any viewport settings, and whenever I rotate an object it is scaling on a single access... I'm very confused.
EDIT:
Accidentally resolved the UV issue. Put some placeholder tileable textures for the brick and stone in the fireplace.
Want to tale Dylan's advice and use one giant texture sheet with all my textures, but that means I won't be able to just scale UVs on my objects. Advice on how to tackle that would be appreciated, so I can start setting up my texture sheets now and expedite texture work down the road.

New Camera angle
My updates come late at night, because my sleep cycle is based on going to night school, just FYI ;)
This is a new doodle for my new camera angle... I haven't really done anything to the layout, because I haven't really had issue with it.
One thing I notice as I'm drawing this over is that I feel like my TV is far away from my chair, which will ruin my triangle of interest maybe a bit. So I MAY move the entire left wall and all those props in a bit.
This higher angle seems like it will work out ok.
Right now I'm finishing modeling and UV layout of some of my small props, I'll begin updates on those tomorrow night ;)

Fireplace
My scene as of today
My fireplace. I intended to have textures complete today, so I'm a bit behind. I have to pound out this texture tonight to pick up my slack.

Update on Wood planks
Ok so the last week was a little hectic. I had to spend some time on those job apps, and then I've got personal drama that nobody cares about... So I'm working a bit harder this weekend.
So I added some geo to my wood planks, hopefully once I get my scene lit this will help out. Looking at them now, in hindsight, I think I need one that's a little more visibly angled instead of subtly. I was looking at some simple planks in The Last of Us today, and it showed me how much I need that. I will probably just duplicate one of these and have it share the UV space.
I actually took some time to redo the UVs, because I had a tiling wood texture on them and it looked really bad.
Here's some textures I threw on there for now.
Threw them in scene, started positioning them in front of the window. Started on the chimney addition to the wall. Will work on the mantlespace tomorrow.
The window as it stands now. It was pointed out to me that the window will need to be bigger, and I totally agree with the critique. That will be enlarged this weekend, and shouldn't be an issue since it's using a basic texture sheet rather than specific stuff.
